That was you, dear and YES that's the real deal on the bread!

I prefer the bring a dish thing, too. I think it's much more fun and there

are several grocery stores very near by. Besides, we've NEVER complained

about not having enough food, have we?

I hereby vote that we bring a dish and as things progress we can figure out

what the manly men can bbq for us... also, my daughter says that I should take

gramma's roaster and fill it with pierogies!

Many thanks for getting this together! There will be 4 of us, my hubby can't

come, so I am bringing my mom, me and the girls. We will most likely arrive on

Friday and leave Sunday, maybe even Monday, but it is too early to tell.

I can't wait----------it's gonna be a good time!!!!

East Coast Suaree INFO

Greeting fellow summer suaree missers and lovers.

What: Suaree 2005

A fun-filled Saturday to meet and greet list friends!

When: Saturday, August 13

Where: Crafton, Pennsylvania

Who: Everyone who is on our list, friends, family and of course OUR KIDS!!

Where is Crafton? It is 20 minutes southwest of Pittsburgh

The Suaree will be held in Crafton Park in the big pavillion. The pavillion

has electricity this year and the bathrooms have running water, soap and

flushing toilets!!

There is a climbing park on one side and our public pool is on the other

side. All day admission to the pool is $4.00 per person. It has a fun water

slide and life gaurds, but kids still have to be supervised.

There is ample room for frisbee or ball.

I am working on getting us a break at the local hotel. Also, for those

arriving Friday or staying thru Sunday, I will be happy to work on Amusement

Park

tickets, Pittsburgh Children's Museum tickets, Science Center tickets...

other stuff. I just got off the phone with Mark Belko, a reporter from the

Pittsburgh Post Gazette, and they will be coming, too!

As for food- we have, in the past, catered and cooked out. I am open to

suggestions here. We've never had a shortage of snacks and baked goods...My

family here could provide a roaster and several crock pots to keep things

warm-

if you trust us in the culinary department!

It's a public park, so no alcohol BUT we will having a party someplace... my

back yard if necessary on Friday night. Also, I am looking for a place for

us to have a nice breakfast.

T-shirts are being designed and I estimate the cost to be in the $8-$10

range. Also, there will be a generous size Totebag available. I'll know

more

about that in about 2 weeks.

Tentative List so Far:

ann 2-4

I like your daughter's thinking!!! I haven't had authentic pierogies in

The last time we had all brought food, one of the biggest hits for kids was

a huge pan of Kraft Macoroni and Cheese - so simple and easy (my mom hated

bring later.

How far is this from town? Tim and I will be moving Katey and TJ both

into their places in town- we'll definately take advantage of this

trip to drop off TJ's stuff (TJ will be in Korea) and save the next weekend

for Katey's move in date.

I am just so so envious! LOL

Tim can you blackmail any of the airlines into 'free' tickets from Oz to

USA, of course you know this is an extremely important 'meeting' that we

over here should be attending -
