Guest guest
Hi friends: My 9 year old neice, ds has been doing well ALL year long with listening, not running away, coming in from recess etc.......... And just recently it has gotten a little bad ....... There has been no changes at school with aide or teacher, so we can't figure out why these behaviors have returned. What have yall seen as why these behaviors come on or return? Is it necessary to do have a behavior specialist come in? what are our options for this? Or does this give a bad perception to teachers for next year etc............ She had to eat lunch today in the principals office b/c she was not listening and running away.................my sister is so upset........... It seems to me that their strategies are NOT working anymore....and we need to get some other opinions........... PLEASE help on what has helped your child on not running away, listening and coming in from recess........ What strategies have worked for your child for these problems? She thinks it's funny or a game......................which some of these things can really be dangerous for her...........running away is really scary............ thanks so much Stefanie (aunt-godmother to age 9 ds) TEXAS
