Guest guest
it looks great! Did you make your own mold? It looks pretty nice. Shaye Pictures of my soaps... Guest guest
Yes I made the mold from left-over laminate that was at my office after a remodel. I got 2 sheets and used them to make 3 molds, hinged type. They work great too > it looks great! Did you make your own mold? Guest guest
I uploaded 9 more photos today. I have a pic of the finished Pumpkin Pie and I must say I think it came out wonderful! @ new soaps that I tried this weekend are " Oh Baby " and " Eastern Star " . Oh Baby I am hoping will be my baby soap. It's a mild, mostly olive oil soap with Chamomile tea, Jasmine tea and the EOs of Jasmine and Maple. I also added some Almond Extract (pure). For a 3lb batch there is 1 Tbsp. of scenting total so I am hoping that will be mild enough. We'll see how my 1yr old takes it Eastern Star was named for the holiday season with a touch of peppermint and Ylang- ylang and Allspice added for colr and scent. Let me know what ya think please. > I have uploaded some pics of Nothin' Fancy soaps. > All this talk of 'pumpkin' inspired me to try a batch. Guest guest
, Your Salvation Soap (label) is just about the most awesome thing I've even seen. It looks really white. Do you put anything in it? /Myrrh etc. Started back into teaching classes for the fall today. Two married couples made 10 lb batches for their family. It was a fun day! www.angelicglow.com Re: Pictures of my soaps... > I uploaded 9 more photos today. Guest guest
The Salvation Soap idea struck me as the wife and I were driving and trying to think of a way that the Lord could use me and my brother in our new soap biz. Then it hit me! Like the proverbial 'ton a bricks'... Salvation Soap! The bars are a simple lard recipe with Castor and Coconut oils. It is scented with Lily of the Valley FO that I got off Ebay. The entire Romans Road is printed on the label. The bars are my 'sample size' .5 oz and ... well... since Salvation is a free gift... so are my Salvation Soaps The lady that owns the shop where I sell my soaps puts them in every bag that goes out the door. She has one lady that continues to return and is asking for larger bars that she can give to relatives and friends. Thank you all for your compliments on my soaps. I am having a wonderful time with them. > , > Your Salvation Soap (label) is just about the most awesome thing I've > even seen. It looks really white. Guest guest
Sorry I took so long to reply to this Carol. The Merrily Mint has dried spearmint, spearmint and peppermint EOs, and the base is a 62% crisco, 16% coconut, 12% olive(pomace), and 10% castor. It's a nice hard bar CP soap. Spells like Wrigley's Double- mint gum. > In a message dated 9/13/03 12:22:54 PM Eastern Daylight Time, > bfrog@t... writes: > > > Let me know what ya > > think please. > > > > What did you put in the > merrily mint? > > :-) > Carol J >
