Guest guest
Hi all: I just talked with Brad Witt, my state rep. I was bemoaning the high rate of investigations and denials of work comp injuries, especially by SAIF and how this hurts workers in many ways and he said - if you come up with ways to address this legislatively, I will go to work putting together bills. How about it- how shall we approach the toally broken, screwed up work comp system? I think we have to bite off the worst pieces to fix one at a time. I am not sure what those are. Guest guest
Hi Ann, Brad could introduce my to suggestions and that which the CAO is interested in. 1. and end to close panels in W/C the panels should be open to all following credentialing of that doctor. 2. A disclosure law that forces employers to disclose to the employee at time of their reporting an injury "form 828" by way of a one page form that explains clearly their treatment options. Currently W/C patients are being funneled into the occ med centers and urgent care centers to reduce the W/C ins companies exposure etc., Vern Saboe Work comp IMPROVMENTS Hi all: I just talked with Brad Witt, my state rep.
