Guest guest
Bob good luck!!! How far away is this from where you live? Shaye Dang! ) Hi everyone: Well after five years doing nothing (as far as shows anyway) I did my first craft show in Ocean City Md on Memorial day weekend. 'Twas a rainy spring down here which I heard spared you more northern folk some moisture. While I didn't necessarily rake in the bucks at the show I did schmooze with a few other vendors which was . The gal next to me, who'd been vending for quite a while, mentioned a show in Deleware at a local Vo/Tech that she'd traditionally done well at. While she had a much higher priced product line than I and therefore I can't expect to pull the same type of numbers, figures in the thousands for a one day show (with a prior night setup) for sure caught my attention. While she gave me the name of the school and also said you wind up on the waiting list if you dilly daly when you get your repeat signup form, she never did mention it was a juried show. I called a few days later, got my application in a day or so and then took another week getting pictures taken, developed and sent off. Even though this is a Christmas show on the first weekend of December and I figured I wouldn't hear anything until the end of Summer, last week I got my acceptance! I'm soooo psyched! My foist juried show ::::::batting eyelids cuz I don't have eyelashes anymore::::: LOL. Bob
Guest guest
Shaye: About an hour and 1/2. I wasn't even planning on staying there after setting up but I probably will to be fresh as possible. After all, after Thanksgiving is getting into stocking stuffer time, right? ) Bob > Bob good luck!!!
