This reminds me of a few years ago when discovered French Fries - now

his favorite food of course. We had to drive past the Mcdonalds (or ning a ning

a ning) to get on the highway. would yell for fries in his own language

as we would be entering the highway. Same thing, we'd try to distract him as we

went past, but I'll be darned if he didn't have radar and knew exactly where

that McD's was in relation to our house!!!

The other funny pronunciation was my from my oldest, . When was 3, he

ate Oatmeal for breakfast everyday, he called it eapadiddle. It was so funny.

A few years ago, I ran into his preschool teacher and she said to me that the

thing she remembered about the most was that they would be in their circle

time and would share every morning what he had for breakfast, eapadiddle!

I couldn't believe she remembered so many years later - and especially what he

called it, not an everyday name.

Kids are PUNNY!

When Maverick was little he called Mcs

" Ning a ning a ning " . I have no idea where it came from. We took a long

car trip when he was 3 and every time we say a Mcs we'd try to distract

his attention, but he'd see it and call out for " Ning a ning a ning. " It

was really funny because he ate very few solids until he was 5, mainly drinking

these concoctions I made out of formula, goats milk and instant breakfast but

he would eat chicken nuggets and fries from Ning a ning a ning!
