Guest guest
Have a 30 y/o female pt. who's mom died a month ago. The pt. wasn't hungry for awhile so she quit eating; now when she eats she experiences extreme abdominal pain. It hurts mildly when empty. I suggested licorice. Anyone have any suggestions of the best way to ingest licorice. (Besides eating it in whips at a Star Wars movie.) By the way, the patient has a stiff, sore region of her lower thoracic spine. I told her that that area relates to her stomach and adjustments might help her stomach function. She's not very big but adjusting her t-spine is always about as easy as getting the wheel off a car with the lug nuts still attached! ( E. Abrahamson, D.C.)
