READ AND PASS ALONG TO OTHERS USING EMAIL !!

WARNING! There is a " Phishing " e-mail scam circulating to

Groups subscribers. The e-mail message claims to want feedback

from subscribers and has a link for you to click

that looks something like this:

www.geocities.com/ashakari/

This is NOT the exact link, only part of it, as I'm not going to

pass the actual link around.

The actual link will take you to a web page that LOOKS exactly

like the sign in page, BUT it is a FAKE. Once you fill

in your ID and password, your account will be

taken over, your password changed and you will not be able

to access it.

You should never access any of your accounts (of any kind, from

anywhere) by using a link in an e-mail message. Even if the

e-mail message appears to originate from somewhere you have

an account. Always use the links that you have saved, and

know to be good, in your Favorites. Never, ever, EVER fill

in ANY personal/private info (account numbers, passwords, ID

names, social security numbers, etc) on web pages that you

have gotten to from an e-mail link!!!

If you get such a message, don't be tempted and don't be fooled!

FORWARD the message to abuse@... AND to abuse@...

( and Geocities Security Departments). Put " PHISHING SCAM "

in the subject box of your forwarded e-mail.

If you don't know what " Phishing " scams are, go here and inform

yourself: http://www.antiphishing.org/
