Hi all!

I'm waiting for DH to call so I can go back to bed. I actually got a

decent

amount of sleep last night but I felt far from rested when I woke up

this

morning. So I'm hoping I'll be able to get in a two hour nap before my

appointment with the Ob. *yawn*

Yesterday was peachy! Except for goofing a little with my meals. We

needed to

figure out ways to cut down our food spending so we're planning on

sticking

mostly to chicken.. getting whole eggs instead of the stuff in the

cartons..

less tuna for me.. stuff like that. I hadn't realized what an impact

buying

plane tickets for my SIL and her family would cause on our budget :P

(oops)

But we figured out what we need to do to get back on track so it's all

good.

:) Yesterday I also watched the first mythology episodes from Season 5.

*grin* I'm so psyched. Trying to figure out if it's humanly possible

to watch

the entire season before we go up to PA this weekend. LOL! The real

breakthrough yesterday was going to the mall. I walked through the food

court

to get to the store and inhaled all the wonderful smells... and I didn't

actually want to eat any thing :) I didn't crave :) It was AWESOME!!

So today I'm going to take that nap, go to the Ob when I wake up, come

home,

eat, wait 1/2 hour, lift, wait a 1/2 hour and eat again. I guess I need

to eat

quick when I wake up too :) It's an Upper Body day!

Oh! I've got a question about ground beef. If I get 85% lean ground

beef and

then drain it and rinse it really well after cooking, will all the fat

cook out

and it'll then be basically the same as leaner beef? Or am I missing

something

here.. (I've only been cooking with cow for two years so I still know

nothing

about it!) Thanks!!

Meals look like:

1 - Almost the last of the Egg Subs Sandwich

2 - Tuna and Apple

3 - BFL Spaghetti

4 - Taco Chicken

5 - Something with Chicken and what we've got.. maybe a pasta dish with

broccoli

6 - protein bread

I sort of messed up a little with yesterday's meals. :P

I forgot I had taco chicken. So I had a small chicken taco salad

> 4 - Cottage Cheese and Yoghurt

Um.. I forgot to eat this meal. Ooops

We made Chicken and Brown Rice soup. It was yummy! Lots of good herbs,

chicken broth/water, and brown rice with grilled chicken. Next time I

think

we're going to substitute some of the rice for potatoes but it was still

quite

tasty!

> 6 - Protein Bread

I fell asleep so this meal got skipped also.
