Guest guest
Hi. We did some signing when Hannah was really little... eat, more, mom, dad... Tatyanna and I took a class at the college. (she is very good) Now Hannah is 5... how do I go about teaching her this with any utility? Connie The mom who has time to reevaluate life since she now spends 18 hours a day doing nothing but think! She knew 75 signs by age 3 but stopped using them because the rest of the kids in her class didn't use them. We re-introduced signs when she started using Edmark Reading because she had to prove her ability to recognize the words by " reading " them out load and she can't pronounce some words. Signing immediately got us over that hurdel and suddenly she found it fun again. She gets a kick out of teaching the signs to other kids. Then we added words she might find fun or useful ... she thinks it's a hoot to sign " Boring! " - Becky Mom to
