Guest guest
Hi, I feel so blessed to live in this country where we have so much. That is why I've donated to help those in SE Asia where so much was taken way in an instant. For those of you who would like to make a small donation to a disaster relief fund in SE Asia you might want to try my favorite charity. The Salvation Army. :-) They have an on line donation site at https://secure3.salvationarmy.org/donations.nsf/donate?openform & projectid=IHQ-As\ ia_Fund & t=US_USC*USE*USS*USW you can donate specifially to the SE Asian fund. I believe that at their home web page you can also get to a link to donate from other countries if this link doesn't work for that. Unlike many other charities I know that this one uses most of the money for the people it serves, rather then using a hugh amount for overhead costs. That is very important to me. :-) I have also heard to many complaints about the Red Cross which is why I don't dontate to them, plus their overhead is to high for my personal preferences. (to each his own :-)) Joy
