Guest guest
Why don't you ask your friend that question? Are they a chiropractor? If yes, why would they agree (which they obviously did) to allow and insurance adjustor to come to his/her office? Has the patient given thieir consent to the insurer...to the chiropractor? Visit from insurance companies? I remember reading something about this on the site about a year ago. I was talking to a friend who said he has got an insurance adjuster coming to his office next week. Why would an insurance adjuster want to visit your office? What are their motives, besides just wanting to get out of the office? Thanks In Advance, Radspinner,DC radspinnerdc@... OregonDCs rules: 1. Guest guest
Hi All In California they are doing this and want to see the clinic so they can take pictures of your equipment - modality machines etc. Then they compare what you bill against what they see AND photograph for procedures. Guest guest
That makes me want to get a room set up with a metal table hung from chains, a jacobs ladder device, all sorts of ancient electrical machines, and various unrelated things like jumper cables, small TV sets, egg beaters, etc. to display. It is a fraudulent scheme to intimidate docs, and if you want to have your friend contact me I will be happy to give him some ideas.
