Oh I like that story Bridget! :)

Rita

Readvise - Joanns romantic story

hi Joann,

What a romantic story! I had to practically wrestle my hubbie to the

ground after securing him with a rope, ball and chain and a bag of

sand! I had liked him for over a year but he never took a step to ask

me out, coz he is very shy. At the end of my tether i asked him to go

with me for a game of squash. This was put off three times the last

time due to a rather bad car accident he had, i even joked to him

that he did not have to go to such measures to get out of the game!

Anyway he said to make up always putting off the arrangement we would

go for dinner the next week. We did and at the dinner i asked him if

it was just for making up for the arrangement and he said yes, to

which i replied what a shame! So then he said that we should go out

the next week as well. The rest is history. We had our 17th wedding

anniversary last Friday! (Still keep the rope in the boot of the car

tho just in case he strays hahaha)

Gosh, I must revamp the story of DH and I meeting, you guys have

great ones!!! He and I met at a bar, end of story. And my friend was

interested in his friend, and we just tagged along for the ride!

Eventually after a week or so our friends realized that he and I had

more sparks than the two of them, and we became inseparatable. 6

years and 2 kids later we are still going strong!!! But certainly no

big romance story that's for sure! Oh well! I guess I could make one

up.

I saw an acquaintance from the gym yesterday and he asked me what I

was doing, because my arms looked awesome! I was so happy! I told him

BFL and he said, " Great! Keep it up, it's working for you! "

So there's my inspiration for the week!

Hey Bridget~

Love your story as well! Wow it's amazing how people end up hooking up with

each other.

However my hubby tends to remember the story in a different way. He says

that I had a " neck problem " meaning that I was always looking over to the

teller window [multiple times] instead of patiently waiting my turn for the

next available bank teller....LOL, perhaps I was a bit impatient but only

when he worked did it take forever for my bank transaction to get completed!

:0)

BTW congrats on your 17th! wow that's awesome~ I keep telling hubby that

he's mine until the day after our 50th then he can do whatever he wants :0)

[cheat, divorce, or die] I just have a personal goal to be married for at

least 50 years to the same person [happily of course] because my parents

divorced when I was young and then my mom remarried so I want to experience

what a non-disfunctional family is like :0)

Talk to you soon~

Your story is just as romantic as the rest of ours...after all you are happy

with each other and are making it work! That's success if I ever heard it!

LOL

But your girls can't be that bad :0)

But they are at the age that they are testing their independence

though~think back to what you were up to at their ages and then put up road

blocks to discourage them from doing the same things...hee hee :0)
