Guest guest
I have to tell you...it has been in the 70's here. (Dallas) Is a little cooler today and going to be cold tomorrow but back into the 60's by Tuesday. I so love living in Texas in the winter. We occassioanally get some ugly but it usually doesn't last long. And that allows me plenty of tennis to raise those endorphins - and it allows the kids plenty of trampoline time which calms their sensory issues. All around - great. UGH- snow, my least favorite > > Hi, > Just thought I'd check in from the little town of Brooklyn. It started > snowing around noon- just as they predicted. Guest guest
Well the sun is shining now......but last night it was blowing the new snow all around and I had to go to work. It was ok coming home....until I was about 5 miles from home, I have to say that I've never really driven in such white outs, the first one I hit going around 45 I had no idea where the road was, and I was in a truck not my car. Needless to say I did slow down some so when I'd hit those spots again if I went in the ditch I'd be going slower and it would have been a smaller jolt. LOL Evidently the neighbor hit a pole and we were without electricity for about 2 hrs last night, doesn't really like it when her lights don't work. They wen't to jaime's and watched tv there when they came back saw the lights on in the house and went YEAH!! lol Love MN in the winter time. :-) Joy....enjoying being stuck at home this weekend. Guest guest
I am at the beach. Today it is 55, breezy, tomorrow the high will be 35 with 20mph winds, bringing the wind chill to the low 20's. Low Sunday night will be below freezing. But, no snow for us. Sharon H. Guest guest
Hi , Yes, I am another one who is going to tell you have nice and sunny it is here !!! We are not looking forward to next week though - a week of hot days and probably nights as well, (weather temps cause a lot of tension in this house) - most of the week the temp is going to be in the high 30's Celsius (or near 100 F) - this will be our hottest week of temps this summer and the kids go back to school then. Roll on autumn !!! Keep smiling Jan, mother of Trent 20yo w/DS - from the Land DownUnder

Guest guest
If you don't like snow you could always shovell a bit in the direction of east yorkshire (UK). I LOVE snow and altho it 'snowed' last night it looks more like a heavy frost and is useless for any snow play (or tims sensory therapy!). sue wong ____________________________________________________________________________ This email and all attachments have been electronically scanned by Kingston Communications' email Anti-Virus service and no known viruses were detected. ____________________________________________________________________________

Guest guest
It's supposed to be hot in aussie land tho, it is summer after all! Winter in the UK is getting 'warmer', can't say I've noticed, I hate the cold unless its dry and crisp or snowy, but all we seem to get is rain and floods and gales. sniff. sue wong Re: UGH- snow, my least favorite > > Hi , > > Yes, I am another one who is going to tell you have nice and sunny it is here !!! > > Keep smiling > > Jan, mother of Trent 20yo w/DS - from the Land DownUnder > >

Guest guest
It's pretty articy here today. All the snow that Tim shoveled got blown back. Serves him right for shoveling snow on me yesterday. I went to the store and had to back out in a snow drift. When I came back, you could not tell where I left - had to make 4 attempts to pull up close to the garage door (where half is full of junk and the other half with the corvette -it's days like this that I wish TJ didn't have that thing--URGHH!). The store was pretty empty - pretty unusual for Sunday afternoon. The clerks said everyone was in on Friday and Saturday - including Krispy Kremes which did not make a delivery today (explain that one to !). I did pass Oliver North on my way out - I'm pretty sure that was him. It's a good day for Shepards Pie - I have a super easy recipe if anyone is interested.
