I forget how old is.

(12) has been a LOT more comfortable in environments she used to

avoid. I think she may be " growing out of " some of her SI issues.

Well, today was one of those days when decided he would go with me

(I never quit asking). I had a foster/adoptive parent Holiday party to

attend and lo and behold, he went! Not only did he go, but he was well

behaved. He did decide he wanted to eat with other kids and not with

me...lol! He did crafts with the children, too. It's amazing - I have not

taken with me to a work related event in ages. Of course he

disappeared once and people scrambled to find him. I had told him I was

almost done (washing dishes) and then we'd go. He went ahead and sat in the

car (windows are dark) to wait and I found him there. Then we went to

Walmart, where he initially refused to get out of the car. I reminded him

that they had a large grinch and that is all I had to say to get him to go.

's doctor did switch medication (for ADHD/Impulse control) last week.

I can't way this is what made him go somewhere with me today, I can only

hope it's part of the reason.

- ha ha).

Glad to hear things are going well and maybe more fantastic surprises are

waiting around the corner.

Happy Holidays to all and to all a good night!

Jayne

mom to three including (who decided to explore swimming in the big

jacuzzi tub tonight all on his own. Came in to find him submerging himself

underwater continuosly. so much for keeping those new tubes dry! and I wonder

why his ears are always draining....)
