I heard something about this also, but I thought they said it was not a definite thing and also verizon has no part in it. The certain cell phone companies were going to make there own telephone directory with cell phone numbers that anyone could access but again, I do not believe this is definite. I don't think it is a good idea to put your cell phone number down on the internet where many people could get it, but that is just my humble opinion. Guest guest
Thought this may be of interest to some of you. The site I think is being overloaded, so it may take a while to get through. May want to try it at night. So this means as of January 1, your cell phone may start ringing off the hook with telemarketers, but unlike your home phone, most of you pay for your incoming calls. These telemarketers will eat up your free minutes and end up costing you money in the long run. It only takes a minute or two to register on-line. According to the National Do Not Call List, you have until December 15, 2004 to get on the national " Do not call list " for cell phones. They said that you need to call 1-888-382-1222 from the cell phone that you wish to have put on the " do not call list " to be put on the list, or you can do it on-line at www.donotcall.gov >> > ---------- End Forwarded Message ---------- >> > >> > >> > >> > >> > >> > >> > > _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger!
