Guest guest
Dear Colleagues: I need to hear from all of you who have experienced problems with the current closed panel MCO System. Not getting paid, not being notified that the injured worker is now enrolled in this or that MCO. Not being able to get on panel etc., etc. E-mail me specifics as I need a paper trail. The current closed panel MCO system is inappropriate as is the unbridled funneling of injured workers into the Occupational Medical Centers whom are so beholding to the employer and insurance carrier and that inwhich the worker's needs seem to come last. All the while never notifying the injured worker of their options as per who they can treat with, being told that they can't see a chiropractor, or that chiropractic treatment must be pre-authorized, and all under the threat many times, of being fired..... We are going after this BS next session (2007) and will be fully educating legislators to this inappropriate behavior...... I will also be mailing a questioner relative to the same to every DC in the state...don't no about you all but...."I'm mad as hell and I ain't going to take it no more!" Believe me when I say we have many friends in very high places in the Oregon legislators and these law makers understand and support "fairness!" SO...SEND ME THOSE CASES..........ASAP!
