Guest guest
The year was 1991. It was a heady time for workers compensation carriers. They had just tossed chiropractors out of the system. Some were sneaking in the back door by getting unscrupulous medical doctors to refer patients to them for care. The enclosed letter was a clear attempt to explain that chiropractors had a place; just not in the workers comp. system when other modes of treatment were available. And WE were the ones busted for racketeering! Note that it is cc's to the Medical Review and Abuse Section; scary! ( E. Abrahamson, D.C.)
