Guest guest
This happens to also. I have two theories, one is that her lips stay more moist. She has more saliva, and it collects in the corners of her mouth. When I remind her to dry her lips, etc., the redness disappears. This also can be a sign of Vitamin D deficiency. That can't be the reason for 's since she takes supplement, drinks lots of milk and fruit juices, so I feel #1 is why 's stay red at times. Sharon H. Mom to , (13, DS) and , (9) South Carolina corner of her mouth Does anyone have this problem...typical or ds..........Ive noticed the last few years that the corner of Sydnie's mouth looks like its red or sore and cracked some last year. What can I do about? It cant surely be cold weather it hasnt gotten that cold here yet....and if it is she's not out in it very long. Ive heard that its a deficiency of some kind...cant remember what that is...but wonder if you guys have experieced this and have a solution. ~Angie mom to Sydnie (5/26/00) and Saylor (4/30/04) May God Bless You As He Has Us www.babiesonline.com/babies/s/sydniebrooke www.babiesonine.com/babies/b/babytate

Guest guest
gets this on and off. It happens more when it is dry (and chapped), but sometimes it happens for seemingly no reason. I have often wondered if the " wet mouth " she seems to have contributes....... perhaps she gets a little dry area, and then saliva keeps it moist and a good incubator for an irritation/infection. Fortunately, it usually resolves in a few days. , mom to (9), (6 DS), and (5) Angie Tate wrote: >Does anyone have this problem...typical or ds..........Ive noticed the last few years that the corner of Sydnie's mouth looks like its red or sore and cracked some last year.
