vent- damn drs

Hi all, here. I hate to bitch to you, on the one

hand, you have so many worse problems, but....on the

other hand, you understand. I tried before, twice

actually, but been jinxin the machine again or

something,(hope I can get into that later) 1/2 of my

posts are ? I share w 3 kids, might be something to do

with it. BTW, anyone want 5 14yo boys? I've had them

since yest............They ACT like babies LOL

I waited all winter, a long hard sick one, to see my

rheumy, the supposed " good one " , that took me yrs to

find- and a 5hr drive to get there- only to find an

uncompassionate stranger. She found out I applied for

disability, and I am guessing wants nothing to do with

it. No bloodwork, no UA, didnt even take my temp. I

understood she would be testing me for fibro this

time, as she was sure last fall, but didnt have time-

no test, or mention. She wants me to find a

dermatologist, have an " expert " look at these lesions-

the same picture perfect subQ lupus lesions she spent

lots of time explaining in detail to me last fall,

still hot in spots from the little sun exposure thru

the car window. I guess the cough, chest pain, & fluid

ret since Oct is ok cause lungs are clear. And the abd

pain, well, she has heard that there are exercise

shows on tv, she doesnt know much, cause she doesnt

have one, but I can still get some exercise, even when

I cant leave the house. I thought I needed something

for the raynauds, since it gave me so much trouble

over the winter, but was explaining why I was afraid

to take the bp med, cause mine is so low dh has had to

haul me out of tub hypotensive- have always had probs

with low bp. Well (cheerfully) its normal now

140?/90?- last time it was " normal " 120/80 I had

nosebleeds & preeclampsia. She did give me some nitro

oint for it, as I was trying to tell her about the

HA's for the last 3wks, she said this will give you a

doozy. And for the pain- 30 Empirin #2's (aspirin &

codeine)- cant fill, wait for a week for them to

return pharmacist call, finally ok's #3's, but I am to

" take 1/2 tab once a day for extreme pain " This makes

it a 60 day supply? & ins wont pay. No muscle relaxer.

& come back in about 6mo, before it starts snowing

again.

Am I being overly sensitive, imagining that I am

being blown off? Is there just nothing else you can do

for lupus/sjogrens/raynauds/ & I'm sure fibro? & how

many years can you have blood in your urine before you

worry?

It will be a very long 6 months!
