True, but just post your message at the top.

Yes, but do I agree with and was going to post something regards

this too. The thing is even though you post a message at the top,

leaving 12 inches of old messages takes up space in the digest that

could be used for other messages, i.e. could get 15 messages instead

of 3 in a digest. Also it is easier to read your important message,

when (most of) the previous already read messages are not included

along with it.

you have not included all that has gone before. an easy way to do

this is to use the right mouse key and highlight the areas that have

already gone out to the list before, then backspace to remove that

part.

I really like this group, and I love reading what everyone has to

say... but, is there a way for members to reply to posts without

having to include everything that was written before? (It just keeps

things more simple and streamlined.)

Thanks!

A snippet of the last post on the topic is important so that members can follow the thread (since often there is more than one topic being discussed at the same time). That said, there is no need to replicate the entire previous post and the entire previous discussion. We do note this in our rules for posting which is automatically sent to all new members and is posted automatically by once every two weeks.

However, it's just about nearly impossible to get over 2400 members to follow all minor rules such as this, to the letter. As it is, we reject many posts that don't follow the more important rules we have for posting. Among the more important rules being: to cite appropriate and acceptable references and not post frivolously.

But, thanks for the suggestion. If we thought we could succesfully implement it, we would.

Dana,

Thank heavens for all those 'misfits'!!! on line. I've been reading

your posts for many of the years you've so generously shared

information about your children in cyberspace. It has been very

helpful to me. It's obvious that you've put so much time and effort

into this. I remember your first mention long ago of yeast when

trying lauricidin. A light bulb moment for me as we were thick into

such an awful pattern with lauricidin. The yeast issue made sense and

the pattern responded to anti yeast. Only one of the so many helpful

comments that you've shared with all of us. Thanks for staying

around! , mom of an unrecovered 22 year old and grandma of a

recovered 7 year old
