Guest guest
(((Hugs))) , I know just what you are saying about the GI dr. I've been to one twice, and they wanted to do the Barium Enema and the sigmoidoscopy. The first time that I was supposed to have gone thru with it was b/c of chronic constipation (turned out to be IBS) but I told them no way, no how was I going to let that dr stick a probe up my backside. This was a male dr. I know now that if I must ever have those tests done it's going to be with a female GI dr. So far I've not had to do that. Also if you are having problems with blood in your stool that might be a sign of bowel endo. There are other signs that affect the bowel that make endo a very strong possibility. Are you having any other pains? Feel better soon sweetie!! ===== Kristy http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/Falls/4659/kristyspage.html __________________________________________________

Guest guest
#1, I am , I don't know if you remember me. I haven't posted here much, but your post prompted me to reply. I too am going thru crap right now with my doctor and lab results....I have many problems right now, urilogical, for which i am on an antibiotic (vaginosis, proteinuria, a result of a bacterial infection). I have been sick for 4 years off and on with very real symptoms for which the doctor's office always says tests are normal. I was even referred to a psycologist and psyciatrist because she said it was mental. I was insulted. I am on meds for depression, anxiety(now being used more for chronic pain) and I still feel terrrible. So, how do you explain that?! Sometimes I wonder, how doctors, with all their education, think the way they do. Sometimes, I know what is better for me more than the doctor does. This is really frustrating, because, like you, while the lab tests always (well almost) come back normal, I must still suffer. When the lab stuff is normal, the doctor tends to treat my symptoms less agressively. Do you find that too? It is so frustrating. Hang in there, #
Guest guest
If your doc is certain that the chronic diarrhea is caused by stress, what is he doing to help you decrease your stress? Has he sent you to a stress management specialist?? He should not just leave you in the cold. There needs to be treatment, regardless of the cause. It is not good to have chronic explosive diarrhea and it is not normal to have blood in the stool. It still needs to be treated, regardless of the cause. IMHO Lee P.S. I'm sure that a qualified classical homeopathic physician could help you, if you are interested in that option. www.homeopathic.org Don & <handd1@...> wrote: My stool samples came back, and my doctor's office said that they didn'tfind any bugs in my stool. Guest guest
Lee, Thanks! You know, it's funny how I have been made to feel that if there is nothing they feel should be done, I clam up. Why is that? If there is something wrong, you'd think I'd shout to everyone until something is done about it, but why don't I? It sometimes takes a gentle reminder to get me back on track. Thanks, Lee. Hope all is well for you, and I hope stress is low for you now, too! -----Original Message-----From: l harris [mailto:belowskinbeauty@...]Sent: Saturday, March 10, 2001 10:39 AM Subject: Re: Lab tests normal....No surprise there If your doc is certain that the chronic diarrhea is caused by stress, what is he doing to help you decrease your stress? Guest guest
You know Kristy, you've just brought up a very important point. I did just discover something last night. When I was having one of many BMs, I felt a funny pressure in my vagina. There is a very abnormal lump that is very big right at the opening of my vagina. I have made an appointment to see my GYN on Monday, and I haven't really been having pains per se, but more of a " fullness " feeling. I know I have endo on my bladder, and I never thought to think that it may be endo. Thanks Kristy! Guest guest
, MOST DEFINITELY!! Doctors that I have seen have always treated me this way. In fact, my doc told me that when I was so dehydrated that I was falling into the walls, and couldn't stand, he told me that I didn't need to go to the ER, just have some pedialyte. I collapsed in the store. Why do doctors do this?? -----Original Message-----From: kiddoc82@... Guest guest
, Let me know what your dr says about that lump. If you need information for educational purposes and want to ask a gyn about this go to: http://forums.obgyn.net/womens-health. I had my biopsy on Thurs and I will get the results of it in 3 weeks when I go back for my follow up which is on the 28th. I hope that you have a good Sunday. ===== Kristy http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/Falls/4659/kristyspage.html __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Hey babe, Got to go with the grandmother on this one... see the GI ologist... there is something not right, and your normal Dr has no right to just assume the blood in your stool sample is from all the gunk. Never assume. How goes things sweetie? I think you need to give that Dr a swift kick you know where, see a new one and get, um... was gonna say *your ass* lol.. to the GI specialist. How you feeling ? Love Aisha. > Hi guys. > > My stool samples came back, and my doctor's office said that they didn't find any bugs in my stool. There was blood, however. Guest guest
Hey #2, Just wanted to say hi, and give you some support. Sounds like you are going through your fair share of shit right about now. You know, sometimes I wonder if they even run the right test that is specific for the symptoms you are presenting. Have you considered seeing an immunologist? They usually get all the people when the general Dr's dont have a clue. Just a thought. If I can help let me know! Keep the faith! Love Aisha. Guest guest
LMAO!!! I have told the doctor that I would really watch his step if I were him, I already have one doctor being investigated by the medical board....He wrote the referral right away. LOL. Things have slowed a little, but something still just isn't right, you know that feeling? Anyway, I haven't seen the GI dr yet, and I'll let you guys know when that happens. #1 Re: Lab tests normal....No surprise there Hey babe, Got to go with the grandmother on this one... see the GI ologist... there is something not right, and your normal Dr has no right to just assume the blood in your stool sample is from all the gunk.
