Guest guest
I bought an electronic gram scale from walmart and was surprised at the errors in my calorie computations. Frozen peas, eg, are 4.6 oz per cup not 6 as measured on an ounce scale. Oil is 10 grams per tblsp not 14. And a gram sticks to the tablespoon. All in all, I've had an error due to measurement of about 100 kcals. IOW, my intake has been about 1700, not 1800 kcals. Regards.

I reckon most, including myself, would err in the other direction upon closer scrutiny. -
