directly associated with 'just the profession'.....

yet this is a matter of import and I don't think we should ignore what

our well-versed colleagues have to offer in their opinions. If " OT "

political matters are too troublesome, there are many ways to ignore

them....one is to set up your mail to divert any " OT " into its own

folder for discard without you taking time to read it....or the " delete "

key also works....

and your comments are certainly welcome...you don't have to respond to

those OT political posts any more than you have to read them....it's

pretty much a matter of choice....

We are nearing the end of a political season as full of pheromones as

the Vulcan " pan far " mating rut....and suppression of the contributors

in their own fulminating ignorance [where they disagree with MY opinion

-- ;o) ] or share their blissful wisdom when they see the real truth [

) ] , is as much a part of our profession as clinical matters....IMHO.....

Now, is it that opinions are publically stated that offends you, or that

they don't agree with your point of view? Or that such a BB should

include such matters at all?

The links to ACA certainly provide a more professional site. For

myself, getting to know what my colleagures think about such matters is

a benefit. It also is a necessity to seek to become better informed

about matters I already thought I had my mind made up on....and actually

counts somewhat as respite from continually dealing with clinical

matters....
