, as you well know " chiropractic " was never TRULY " covered " by any

stretch of the imagination within the OHP. OHP and its promoters and its

defenders live in a make-believe world and have been living in that world ever

since its origination.

There was a saying in the Soviet Union...the people would say: " We pretend to

work and the government pretends to pay us. " We could apply this to the OHP. The

OHP is based on the false premise that so-called " health-care " (aka free

drugs)is a basic " right " and that free availability of this so-called " health

care " will lead to something called " health " . and docs: Did you know

that the OMAP, just like the NIH has NO official working definition of the word

" health " . Both agencies are money holes with no realistic targets other than to

perpetuate themselves.

" if you don't know where you are going, you are sure to get there " .

However, it is against the rules of the listserve to copy, print, forward,

or otherwise distribute correspondence written by another member without his

or her consent, unless all personal identifiers have been removed.

re: getting paid for "what we are worth..."

without delving into the metaphysik of Chiropractic philosophy, nor enter into the realm of 'wellness care' vs 'acute pain/symptom based care'..........

I'd like to know just how large of a portion of us actually charge "what we are worth" much less are paid for "wellness care".....on a regular basis...

I've been searching for decades for a "New Paradigm" but may have to settle for a "Really Good Cup of Coffee"...

I suspect there are those who have found this land of Life, Health and Living aka 'Wellness'....now that the dry season is upon us and the mud has receded for a while, who is willing to step forth and lead the rest of us from the Valley of Death, Disease and Dieing?.....

yours in Health,

I agree with Vern. OHP didn't really cover our services before since

those MS diagnoses most common were well past the cut-off point of the

prioritized list of diagnoses. Now they have come out and specifically

announced that under the " standard " OHP package Chiropractic is no longer

covered. Isn't that what they refer to as an " oxymoron " ?
