Guest guest
: Well spoken (mostly)..... Firstly, I had a very similar experience to you in undergraduate as a physics major in my first year of college my professor was the relatively-famous Nunzio Tralli.....he left fascist Italy for the USA to work with Einstein and Oppenheimer and others. He was a physicist who believed in an intelligent god. God WAS the unified theory. Neat guy. Lastly: You said: "I also choose to frame any of the things I do that don't have the scientific rigor of randomized, double blinding, to support them, as theoretical." Philip, if you mean this literally, then I believe you will have a long and conflicted life ahead of you. This is a futile and irrational and even fatal statement. If you live this way then NOTHING you do at any moment of your existence is anything but theoretical....and no chiropractic procedure you ever do will ever reach it....so you might as well stay in bed all day. I too am for the fair and unprejudiced use of scientific examination of the effectiveness (or lack thereof) of anything/everything we do....but, we can't use the above-mentioned model, as it is impossible to "blind" a human chiropractor...and mostly-impossible to blind the patient receiving the trial......it will get us nowhere. We must be rational, we must be reasonable, we must be open-minded too. Cheers. J. , DC Springbrook Chiropractic & Natural Health Center 1015 N. Springbrook Rd.
