Guest guest
Bridget had her tonsils and adenoids removed at age 5. When her scab came off (~1 week after surgery) she had what would be considered an increased amount of bleeding. Yes, we went to the ER (it happened at lunch time). The clot on one side was hanging on so we were admitted overnight. She actually coughed up the clot just before being moved to a room. It worked well for us, because Bridget would not drink and was on the verge of dehydration. By being admitted for a night we were able to pump her full of fluids (IV) and make better recovery the next week. This all happened on my 40th birthday. What a present. mom to Bridget 11 ds in SC tonsil and adenoid surgery Today was our appointment after waiting for almost 8 months to see an ent and low and behold my son needs to have his ronsils removed. He had his adenoids removed in july of 2003 , like why didn';t they take his tonsils out then. Thank you for the Vent Now the question, did any of the kids that have had the t & a surgery suffer from any bleeding afterwards that required an emergency room visit Thanks Sherri mom to Tayler 6 (DS) and Cierra 4 3/4 --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
