I tried to get one of those and have them implant it a lot lower than my heart, but Guidant refused. They said that it violated the truth in advertising laws. From California where when I attempted to buy a bulging ICD, I made the mistake of going to europe. It seemed promising when they told me I'd have to make my payments to Sofia. I imagined sofia to be a dark haired beauty who wold ceretainly get my heart going. Then I found out they thought I wanted a Bulgarin ICD and I'd hve to go to their capitol city, Sofia.
