You had better define 'sex talk'.

Sharron:

Depends on

the definition of “is”.

Please don't forget that,

even if a subject for discussion started out " on topic " like to

delete or not to delete, that if it gradually degenerates to " sex

talk " that it has metamorphosed into something that is definitely off

topic.

Sharron Fuchs;

Subject: delete it or

not to delete-sex talk

As a married

man, I will go on record that without " sex talk " there would be

a lot less sex. It's like fishing or hunting (in guy terms). We go fishing

15 times, but only catch a fish once. The ratio seems defeatist. But wait!

When we talk about it with our friends, as in fish talk, we can repeat the

experience many times and thus improve our ratio. Now, it may appear that I

have painted myself in a hole, or dug myself a corner, or put the cart

before the bear in the woods, but what I DO NOT mean is being married and

talking about sex with our friends as it is considered a broach of manly

conduct to cry in a bar, but rather, I am referring to talking to our

spouse

about sex; as in, " You lucky girl, the kids are staying over at

Grandma's

tonight and I'm a lean, mean, steaming hunk of...what's that?...that

reminds

you; you want to shampoo the carpets tonight?...but I'm a hunk of

steaming...steam the carpets...I'll show you steam! As I said, I'm a lean

steaming, hunk...what's that? That reminds you, I need to go out and get a

roast out of the freezer for Sunday dinner?...You want a roast? I'll show

you, etc.

See? With this " sex talk " we can almost have sex, get the carpets

cleaned,

prepare for dinner, and at least, keep out ratio up!

Some of you who sent messages continuing the discussion of biological

warfare agents may have noticed that your messages did not get posted.

Though interesting, this is decidedly off-topic, so the moderators

have been deleting them. Please restrict your posts to topics

pertaining CR or nutrition on this board.

Thanks,

Diane
