Guest guest
Hi folks: A little more on this issue: It appears that ' ' ' Dr.' ' ' Worthington is a doctor of naturopathy. The following is from what appears to be Dr. Worthington's website: " Nutrikinetics was founded in 1988 by Dr. Worthington , a clinical nutritionist, and Dr. Shambaugh, a chiropractor. The name comes from nutrition (nutri) and kinetics (meaning motion). The logo is essentially a yin-yang symbol, incorporating leaves and a spine as the divider. Both the logo and the name are meant to represent the integration of the two disciplines of chiropractic and nutrition. Besides her clinical practice of nutrition and naturopathy, Dr. Worthington writes articles for both popular and technical sources. Her latest publication, in a peer-reviewed medical journal, illustrates the nutritional superiority of organic food. " I wonder where she acquired that qualification and how much time it took her to get it. (I recall a previous member here who bragged about her ' PhD '. It turned out that from no degree at all to PhD had entailed a little more than one year (!) of correspondence courses.) For the record, what QuackWatch has to say about naturopathy can be found here: http://www.quackwatch.org/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/Naturopathy/naturopa thy.html http://snipurl.com/zyxf I must say I prefer Jeff's references.
