Guest guest Posted August 17, 2008 Report Share Posted August 17, 2008 well made it thru the cardioversion and NIPS procedure but what a ordeal. first they nurses had to stick me 4 times before getting the IV started OUCH! the first one stuck me in the side of my wrist felt like my index and middle finger where gonna blow off my hand, the she tried in on the backside of my hand and blew that vessel so she had to get a different nurse well she tried to go in between the writst and elbow area where they usually draw blood, well she blew that vessel finally she got it in just above my wrist. finally they put me to sleep thank God lol. that was at 930am finaly woke up at 130. doc said evferything went ok and that in about 6 months i will probably get a new unit,, said something about one that is tracted by GPS,, what the heck is this? havent heard of such a thing. anyway left my brothers place this morning at 530am and finally got home at 730, that traveling for two hours seemed like eturnity had to pull into a rest area and rested for 1/2 an hour didnt think i was gonna make it home. but did :-) been sleeping most of the day and now up gonna jump in the shower and just let the cold water run on me lol. was told to do nothing for a few days just take it easy so guess what thats exactly what im doing lol. well jsut thought i would let you all know im home and everything is ok for now.
