Guest guest Posted September 16, 2004 Report Share Posted September 16, 2004 This is a very wonderful morning. Finally Cassie is getting something's that should have happened a long time ago. After fighting for months Cassie no longer had to get up at 5:30 this morning and get on the bus to go to school which was a 2 hour ride each way when we only live 15 minutes away from the school. The reg. district school is now going to pay someone from the special ed school to pick her up and bring her home.YES!!!!!!!!!! She was so very very happy this morning!!! Also after fighting for her to be allowed to do Brownie Girl Scouts she was able to go to her first meeting yesterday!!! It was a little rough at first and had to refill out paperwork that they had convently lost, but she made a sit upon and struggled a little bit with distractions around the room but did great!!! The other girls welcomed her and asked her to play with them, it was great to see. Just wanted to share my excitement.
