dollars, a mirror almost off, some paint chipped and some light broken. Yea

I'm still shaking about it and having flashbacks. I wish that it was a

dream but it's not a dream, I wish that it didn't happen but accidents

happen. Yeah the good thing is everyone's not hurt.

Oh my gosh !!! I'm so sorry. That is a very scary thing. I'm glad

hi everyone,

I wanted to say I was in a car accident yesterday

(5-21-01.) I was driving, and this guy turned on

yellow or a red light and hit me. I was disorinted

and had some cuts- so my mom decided for the

parademics to take me to the hospital as my mom

followeed. I got some stiches, and all I have is some

cuts, brusises and that I'll be achy for a few days.

So far I know that the driver's side window is broken,

and theirs a big dent in the driver's side of the

vehicle. My dad said that I was lucky, because if the

damanage to the car was even more worse then I would

have more injuries.

Oh Becky,

Sorry for your little fellows broken toe. Don't beat yourself up over it,

things happen. Might want to move them some where where he can't reach them

if you think he might grab them again. Of course after this experience he

might not dare touch your weights. I'm sure he'll bounce back to his old

self, as good as new, probably sooner than ya think. I have a 5 year old

and a few times I caught him grabbing my weights so I'll be sure to keep

them out of sight/access after your story. As for hubbie, well some people

handle stress better than other people. I'm sure he'll relax when he

realizes his little fellow is a hardy little guy who will fully recover

soon enough. Take care.

I am sorry about your son. I always boys will be boys. My husband

and I spent so much time in the ER with our son I thought they were

going to think we were abusing him. My son is 10 now. When my son

was about 3yrs. he go a green limb fracture in his arm where he was

with his daddy at the bowling alley and fell of the seat. Everything

will be okay. The scare is the worst part of it because you feel

helpless. Good luck with keeping your weights in the livingroom.

Accident

My 4yo son pulled a 10lb wt plate off the rack and broke his big toe

last night. We spent a couple hrs in the ER. X-rays showed a large

crack in the end bone. The toe is purple, swollen, oozing blood, and

he's gonna loose his toe-nail. The darn wt landed right at the bed

of his nail; I hope it didn't damage the growth part. Poor guy!

He's on antibiotics (it's considered an open fracture) and codeine

for a couple days.

My DH, who has always freaked when the kids get hurt, blamed me and

was ready to toss my wts. He wants to move them upstairs, but then

we won't be able to monitor the kids with them. I like them in the

LR, where I can use them whenever and supervise the kids more. The

DH is better today, but is holding the boy (who is not complaining)

and giving me orders....

Gotta go..
