Guest guest
Docs, We don't need a different forum in which to hash out our philosophical, political, and religious differences, since we have so many professional similarities that we can re-focus on. Unless someone has left something really really important un-written (seems doubtful), as moderator I am calling for a moratorium on presidential election issues, although others are fair game (doesn't anyone want to talk about the measure abolishing SAIF for example?). No more religious discussions please; those really can't lead anywhere except to expressed differences of opinion and potential bad feeling. Thanks to you all spreading the word, OregonDCs has grown to nearly 200 members and has been around for more than 5 years. I know that I have learned a lot from all of you, and also been really gratified to have a virtual group practice with which to share experiences. I think that more docs feel like they know more docs as a result of the e-group - this is a great thing. Freeman
Guest guest
Thanks for stepping in. On a positive note, less then 5 days until this is over (except the lawsuits!) Guest guest
, As one of the original political hell raisers-along with Vern-I agree to lay down my verbal weopons and quit trying to convert my fellow docs to Kerry's camp. I see now it is indeed a hopeless and futile task. Besides most all of us doc's have surly voted by now anyway. I will be devoting all my spare energy between now and Nov. 2 to the cause of electing Kerry as our next president. I will do this by canvassing Portland, making calls, and praying a lot. I do suspect that passions will cool down once this election is over. I do hope it us an election and not another 'selection'. Peace and God help America. Guest guest
Will, It's not hopeless an futile. It is inappropriate. This is a chiropractic group not a political discussion group. Guest guest
Ted, I understand your point but the OT label does give us some much needed room to waunder if we so choose without imposing on the valuable time of all listserve members. Take care, Will Schneider Portland
