I choose to embrace it, as elevated BP is bad for you. I have learned to not sit/stand up suddenly or do things that cause the low BP to become symptomatic. I don't notice any vision effects, or at least any coincidental to my low BP, but your's may be lower than mine since I was high normal before losing weight. Guest guest
Since high blood pressure is normally treated by decreasing the amount of salt in the diet, it could probably be increased by adding salt to the diet. The following article looks at different aspects of low blood pressure: http://www.bpassoc.org.uk/information/low_blood_pressure.htm Tony > > > > > > I had hoped that CRON (via a low-carb high-protein Hunter-Gatherer > > diet) would alleviate my low blood pressure. > > > > I have gradually lost 30 lbs and except for low blood pressure > > (hereditary) which is more a nuisance (light headedness, slightly > > blurry vision) than a problem, I am in excellent health. > > > > 5'7 " 119 lbs BMI 19. > > > > Any suggestions for raising blood pressure? > > > > > > I also suffer from, or enjoy low blood pressure, depending upon one's > point of view.
