Guest guest
Hi Dennis: Was this a low impact deal? Such as little vehicle damage? American Family Insurance are the lovely folks who first came up with Managed Care in PIP with closed panels (Colorado) and now there is no PIP in Colorado! Guest guest
Hi Dennis, AFI is a particularly aggressive insurer in other states but not so much in the Oregon. Perhaps this is changing. Since this is a UM claim if the insurer messes your patient around too much she can sue her own insurer for first party bad faith. Let me know if this gets more ridiculous and perhaps I will have a helpful suggestion for you. Guest guest
Regarding AFI, I have had good luck with AFI so far , so I am a little surprised with the story you tell. I would hang in there and get patient to a good attorney. Will Schneider
