Guest guest
Dear , Lomotil will only slow the gastro down and stop nausea if you are getting any. I am surprised your Doctor didn't put you on Flagyl. Or at least take a stool sample to cultural? Yellow can indicate hepatic dysfunction (Liver) and/or bacterial/organism growths. Its also pretty normal though when your internal flora's are out of wack. Sounds like you got yourself a dose of something real nasty. Ideally your Dr should do a stool sample ASAP, and put you on which ever medication will knock the lights out of whatever bacteria you have. Meanwhile they should have you on Flagyl, or an equivalent. Sounds like a classic case of something like Giardia (sp??) which I had once and trust me - as soon as you eat it goes straight through you. Water goes straight through you. Your guts cramp like hell. Its horrific. You need to be medicated correctly. Lomotil will do bugger all to help. Keep your fluids up hon and get to the Dr ASAP. *gentle hugs* ¸..· ´¨¨)) -:¦:- ¸.·´ .·´¨¨)) ((¸¸.·´ ..·´ -:¦:- Aisha -:¦:- ((¸¸.·´ Don't let the odds scare you from even trying. - Schultz______________ Aisha ElderwynEmail: aisha@... Guest guest
Aisha the mother of all knowledge good and evil , Wow, how do you know so much? God, I'm so glad you are on my side! LOL, I thank you very much for this information, and I'll jump on my doc's back tomorrow. I was very surprised that he didn't take a stool sample either. I am also glad you mentioned about the liver thing. I just found out that my father has Hep C, but the weird thing is he's had it for (they say) at least 25 years, and never knew it. I am 22. My mother got tested (even though they divorced when I was 2) she is positive for it also. I don't know if that means I am at increased risk, because I don't know if it can be passed that way, I suppose so. I am going to get a Hep C test anyway, doesn't hurt, right? I am very adamant about fluids, and I guess that is why my doc isn't that worried, but then again, I've been having urinary problems now, too. I suppose it is a bladder infection, due to all this bacterial crap. (pardon the pun) Thanks again, Aisha. You are a godsend!!! -----Original Message-----From: Aisha Elderwyn [mailto:aisha@...]Sent: Wednesday, February 21, 2001 3:20 AM Subject: Re: Very hard to bring up...HEATHER Dear , Lomotil will only slow the gastro down and stop nausea if you are getting any. Guest guest
Aisha, GGGGGRRRRRRRRR! I am so mad at my doctor. He refuses to believe that there is anything wrong. He says, Oh, it's probably stress. I am going to see another doctor, and I am writing a letter to his sponsor group about how doctors shouldn't betray their patients, and how he has. "downtown" is still, ummm, traffic is going too fast. Thanks again for your advice, at least I have somewhere to start. -----Original Message-----From: Aisha Elderwyn [mailto:aisha@...]Sent: Saturday, February 24, 2001 8:46 PM Subject: Re: Very hard to bring up...HEATHER "Aisha the mother of all knowledge good and evil :)" *ponders* And how do you know about my evil side? "Downtown's traffic is moving well now" I was put on an antibiotic, and it seemed to help. I still have the lomotil if I need it, but I haven't had to yet. towards the end, it got really bright yellow, and I mentioned liver problems to the doc. They are running a Hep C test just in case. I of course will let you guys know if something serious comes up. Thanks for your advice Aisha! -----Original Message-----From: Aisha Elderwyn [mailto:aisha@...]Sent: Tuesday, February 27, 2001 6:40 PM Subject: Re: Very hard to bring up...HEATHER Dear , Well hon, um...
