Guest guest
Where the problem is falling asleep typically we find a reduced alpha signal coupled with an increased theta signal during EEG evaluation. When this is present the patient will learn with biofeedback to fall asleep within 20 minutes. It takes 2-5 visits max. Cost is $90 per session. No more sleep aids and much better sleep quality than any herb or drug. Also rule out sleep apnea. Occasionally we find through JMT testing that their reticular activating system is not communicating or functioning with other CNS centers and use an adjustment or self-guided healing methods to correct this problem and, bingo, it is over. The longer they have been insomniacs makes no difference in the outcome. Only sleep apnea is a serious barrier. Willard Bertrand, D.C. Re: sleep aids , Try " Calms Forte " . You can get it in the Fred Meyer nutritional center. It is camomile pills. They work great!! And they are cheap!! Ironically, it was my neurologist who told me about them!! Guest guest
Willard makes excellent points. Also, check the adrenal glands. They can screw up the circadian rhythm if they are shot...
