Guest guest
How many of us have had a dream where their child with ds no longer has ds? I had a dream last week that Karrie was about 4 years old and she didn't have ds. I was staring at her, happy/sad/sickened, because I wanted her back the way she is. Am I the only one who has dreamed about this or am I just losing it?? Sue mom to Kate 14 and Karrie 8 w/ds and other issues
Guest guest
I used to have a recurring dream where Tim could talk fluently, he was the first male gymnast with DS to qualify for the olympics and come away with medals (for britain of course!), he was still really short though so I didn't completely loose my hold on reality!! And talking of short, in the last 2 months he's grown 3 cm! His average annual growth is 4-5 cm so this is phenominal really, no wonder the poor wee thing has been so tired lately! But not talking fluently or looking forward even to the next SO world games having been knocked out of the running by a lack of places for our national games next year. such is life. Guest guest
-- Re: New thread? In church, our pastor has been talking about how when we die and go to Heaven, all signs of disability are removed. I have been really worried about Karrie, since she was just dx'd with having a leaky valve in her heart. She has been sluggish, irritable, and fatigued. Guess that was what triggered that dream I had!! Sue mom to Kate 14 and Karrie 8 w/ds and other issues
