If the spiritualists are right, we're eternal anyway, and won't really " die. "

So, no worries!

Hi

This is just observation. This site is better than any reality entertainment. The gradient is very very high for the average person, which I am. Still the group risks being lost in scientific miasma. Spiritually the truth is that the sand is falling in the minute glass, and we are all going to die. Physically it is heroic to try to save our butts. But we will all laugh one day. There is a lot lot a lot of info and few can take in all the info. And of course there is a lot of chaos in the info as always in science. In all this in all these postings, Francesca has been like the sheriff in the wild west. She is more likely to say, turn in your guns than to shoot you herself. I see an image of a rat running faster and faster on the wheel. Bravo Francesca and everyone who is on the wheel, we are going to fall off cuz it's going faster and faster, the aging process, but it is wonderful and heroic. I guess this is a philosophic or esthetic posting rather than a scientific one!!!!! It is important the other dimension, that is non physiological, really it is the true dimension, if it exists which is not provable, this is just to say, keep an open mind to the spiritual, even in longevity studies, the people who have a spiritual connection or a religious activity, regardless of their diet, live longer on average. We don't live by bread alone. So no research here, but keep on keeping on!!!!! I want to live as long as I can in spite of my physical problems

See the all-new, redesigned .com.

Check it out.

Different religious traditions have different ideas.

Buddhism is called " The Middle Way " , because it rejects both the

idea that

(i) a soul lives on after death, and

(ii) you are completely obliterated after death

Nevertheless, the " real you " in Buddhism is eternal.
