Guest guest
Hi folks: This table is interesting. It shows the causes of death for the overall population, and also for males and females separately. Lots of interesting points to note. One is that 13% more women die of CVD (heart + cerebrovascular) than men. Another is that more men die of cancer than women (but we don't often hear complaints from men that insufficient resources are devoted to finding cures for the cancers prevalent in males.) Alzheimer's is fifth on the list for women, but not in the top ten for men. Suicide is eighth on the list for males and doesn't appear in the top ten for females. Unsurprisingly, accidents are much higher in males. http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0005110.html Rodney.
