I noticed choline and inositol have been removed from my MV.

Those were in my first vitamin pill back in 59.

If you look in

you 550 mg/d

note:

g Although AIs have been set for choline, there are few data to assess whether a dietary supply of choline is needed at all stages of the life cycle, and it may be that the choline requirement can be met by endogenous synthesis at some of these stages.

About the only food is a raw egg yolk, which I have eaten few of since 2000. I must not need a lot of it.

But Dr. Pearson said years ago (20) choline was important.

Genetic variation of folate-mediated one-carbon transfer pathway predicts susceptibility to choline deficiency in humans

Speaks of deficiency.

LINE-1 Hypomethylation in a Choline-Deficiency-Induced Liver Cancer in Rats: Dependence on Feeding Period.

"Chronic feeding of methyl-donor (methionine, choline, folic acid, and vitamin B12) deficient diet induces hepatocellular carcinoma formation in rats. "

Walford's Beyond, pg 267.268 is positive for raw egg yolks.

So much for methionine restriction. Perhaps not a wise idea

given the " hepatocellular carcinoma formation " potential.
