Guest guest
Dear colleagues: I would like your opinions on the seriousness or not of the following 44 year old male who though in good physical shape is under significant stress. He lifts weights about three days a week but is lucky if he gets one or two days of aerobic excercise in each week. He is muscular and not over weight. He sleeps less than seven hours a day, allergies in general, tends to be bloated after eating, has yellow colored stools which are sometimes bloody and he tends to have less than one bowel movement per day. He has noted that he can hear his heart beat full in his ear and again is under a lot of stress. Repeat resting ECG notes "Sinus Bradycardia" and "1st degree A-V Block" His BUN is 22 (high), as is LDH 267, SGOT 30 (high), and CPK 333 (high). His total cholesterol is 209 (now considered high), and his LDL-Chol is 122 (high), HDL to Chol is 55 (ave). I've been slowing down in practice and given up on my internal disorders practice so I'm a little rusty but should I not be concerned of a possible mild MI, and/or bowel early CA?? What suggestions do you colleagues have....you out there ? Cessna?? Vern Saboe, Albany, Oregon
