Guest guest
Craig; Perhaps you could reschedule the time for the Doc appt.?? My guess is with the height of the recall your Doc wont be running on time and it wont be quick! Unless of course your ICD's warning is telling you something is wrong NOW!? They may just reprogram, unless they can tell if your lead is truly defective now. Good luck in your decision and the interview!!! ~guin Sprint Fidelis My EP office called and moved my December appointment to tomorrow. I received the letter from Medtronics saying my 6949 lead been recalled. The timing is an issue. I retired in January of this year. Things were getting a little boring so I jumped when a very good job inquire came in. The VP is in town tomorrow for the interview. Yes, he wants to have a beer with me about the same time as the EP appointment. The proposed job will be very high stress, I am talking 10 to 15 hour days, 7 days a week for the first few months. I am not sure I could survive the position if my EnTrust ICD is not working 100%.Anyone have an idea how long it going to take for the EP to determine if my lead need follow up. I may make the interview if the Doc is fast, on time, and I do not hit any traffic between the Medical Center and the San Riverwalk, a 20 mile drive. Guest guest
Craig, This might be a little late to help but my appointment to be reprogrammed was right on time and didn't take any longer than a normal check of the ICD.
