Guest guest
Actually it doesn't matter when you eat your calories or in how many meals you eat them, whether it's 10 small meals or one big one. It's the total number of calories (average) per day that you eat. Of course if you eat less than 1000 cal a day (whether it's all in one meal or not) you're asking for trouble as it would be difficult to get the necessary nutrients you need on so few calories. on 7/1/2006 1:43 AM, lollygoodman888 at lollyg888@... wrote: I was wondering what you think about my saving up my calories and eating them in one big meal. I find that if I don't eat in the morning or afternoon, my hunger is so minimal. In the evening, I can eat until I'm full (it takes a lot to make me feel full). The other reason I do this is because I find that if I " start the ball in motion " by eating small meals, it only teases me and makes me want to pig out-- almost as if I'm an addict. Anyone else have this problem? If so, what works for you?
Guest guest
Lolly, There are several people in the group who eat once a day. There are others who eat every other day, which is called intermittent fasting. Experimental results show that intermittent fasting may be as beneficial as calorie restriction, but without reducing calories.[1].
