How come I didn't receive a copy of the survey? Am I not part of the "entire chiropractic profession"?

Apparently scientific method employed by ODOC allows them to pole someone in north Portland (The " Atlas " ) and extrapolate what ya'll in Albany (Dorsal 4) would say.

Just be glad you're not in the sacrum of Ashland or the pubic syphysis of K-Falls!

Sweet Home, of course, would be a visceral adjustment...read, the spleen (as in vent your spleen).

Hahaha!

Well, something must be said about the ODOC Newsletter. Referring to the

article boasting about how ODOC led the charge to prevent Thille's

appointment to the OBCE.

Dr. Schmidt cites " an independent survey of the ENTIRE CHIROPRAATIC (sic)

PROFESSION, to be designed, conducted and tabulated by an independent

company... "

You've GOT to be kidding.

The survey was faxed to " all Chiropractors FAX numbers by a national Fax

broadcast service. "

How nice.

No request for permission. How did they procured our fax numbers?

I didn't get one. Doesn't the method of distributing the survey invalidate

the results? How about the wording of the questions. (Dr. , in light of

the fact that revenues are down, spending is up, taxation is out of control,

the Blazers can't win, and you have athlete's foot, do you thing the OBCE

needs a raise to waste more of you hard earned money? " )

Is this science or hogwash?

Dr. Thille may be an IME doc but it stands to reason that it must be

discerned whether he still makes the lion's share of his income from

clinical practice and if he is a fair opinionator (as opposed to a

terminator).

I've got to get to work so I won't take this so called " survey " apart in a

Freeman-esque dissection; maybe he will do it on a flight to one of

his unbiased testimonies.

You go brotha. By the way, are you aware that the Access Response

company, who generates a lot of these spam faxes (spaxes?) has a number

to get UNregistered (800)458-0990

Or email em at access@... (Courtesy of 1/15/04 edition of

DC)

I would be willing to throw away those spaxes if they would give me an

occasional box of paper and a complementary fax toner.
