Guest guest
we have been coexisting with microbe populations in our gut forever.Antibiotics will clear the slate but they/we will repopulate again over time based on our exposure. This is only remotely a bad thing in the unnatural time of plenty when we so easily get too much energy.looks like another "not my fault mon" exercise....JROn Aug 13, 2006, at 8:28 PM, Rodney wrote:Hi JW:That is an interesting new perspective on things. Thank you.But if true, would it not imply that each time anyone took oral antibiotics they should suddenly start losing weight? The reason of course being that microbes in the gut, which had previously been making otherwise indigestible nutrients absorbable, will have been killed off by the antibiotics, so that those nutrients would now be excreted undigested? Is anyone aware of evidence weight loss occurs after antibiotics are taken? If so then antibiotics are a cure for obesity.Rodney.>> fyi.> http://mednews.wustl.edu/sb/page/normal/182.html>
Guest guest
I recall that corn sweetener came about after the sugar price went up. That was 40 yrs ago. What's taken so long? regards. Guest guest
We probably do - we just can't measure it. Just because we take antibiotics doesn't mean we don't eat, doesn't mean we don't absorb more when sick, doesn't mean the body is stable, doesn't mean we keep the same activity level. Regards.
