hi joe,

thank you...i did research it already. i was just curious if anyone

had it on this group so i could ask questions.

i have read where more and more people are developing SVC syndrome and

pacemaker syndrome due to mutiple leads implanted (because devices are

in young people now and lead extraction isn't practiced everywhere) and

the ICD/pacers are so sophisticated now...(so many more functions and

settings to coordinate)

these symptoms i am having are very scarey. the pressure in my chest

face and arms prevents me from laying flat. it's very uncomfortable.

everyone develops fibrous scar tissue around the leads that obstructs

the vein to a degree. collateral circulation (a new venous pathway) is

then formed but apparently not everyone develops an obstruction causing

these symptoms that i describe...lucky me.
