Guest guest
Where in the files does it say that a 6 foot tall woman should weigh only 135?? If anything it's not how much you weigh necessarily, but the cutting of your calories that counts. CRON is not a weight loss program; although most people do lose weight when they change their diet. Also keep reading our files. We have lots of aids and tips in the " Beginning CRON " file. One tip that helps many: Try eating only 1/2 your meal (for example dinner), saving the rest for later when you might have snacked or eaten more food, thereby cutting your daily caloric intake. on 10/9/2006 5:30 PM, leanne.archer at leanne.archer@... wrote: I originally read " Beyond the 120 Year " diet four years ago, and although my husband and I both eat and are very healthy, we're both over the Anti-Aging ideal weights noted in the files (I'm 155 at 6'0 " , and he's 220 at 6'6 " , we should be 135 and 205, respectively). Any thoughts on the importance of the AA body weights and the best way to acheive them?
Guest guest
Page 228 of BT120YD does say: " Reaching a BMI less than 20 is also desirable. (High fashion models' BMIs are generally about 18.) These are your general guidelines. " Our files ( /files/) Have a method for Calculating Ideal Weight and Anti-Aging Weight: " Female ideal body weight is equal to 100 pounds plus 5 pounds for each inch over five feet. " " Male ideal body weight is equal to 106 pounds plus 6 pounds for each inch you are over five feet. " " To calculate your target anti-aging weight, subtract 5 to 10 percent from the ideal weight. " These calculations end up with ~150 lb for a 6-foot woman (BMI 20.4) and ~193 for a 6-foot, 6-inch man (BMI 22.4). These are just guidelines. The normal BMI range is from 18.5 to 24.9. Another document in our files says that diseases like diabetes, and cancer have a lower incidence at BMIs below 22.
