Or a cross. Or maybe does she have a high school ring? He could wear that

around his neck also. Something he could keep on him and not worry about

losing.

For Katey what about an engraved whistle. Practical AND sentimental!!

I have two questions about gift ideas.

is looking for something to give Matt before he goes to Iraq. She wants

to give him something that he can take and not put in storage. She did buy him

a bear dressed in a Marine outfit, that says " I love you Boo Boo " in her voice,

when you squeeze his hand. Matt really doesn't want to take this with him -

is insisting. LOL! I thought about a St. and St.

medal - any other ideas?

Katey's squad is looking for a coach's gift. They want to get something

different this time. The coach usually gets a sweatshirt, afghan, scrap book,

etc.

Oh Leis don't they have High School rings down under??? You get a ring when you

graduate from high School that has your High School's name on it, and the stone

is the school color. Of course you do have to buy it if you choose to wear one.

You have to be at the end of your junior year to buy one and a senior to wear

one. I don't know if they are as popular as they were when i went to H.S. and I

will not tell you when that was lol!!!

  • 4 years later...

I called my husband who is a diesel mechanic. He said to unplug the wire from

the clutch assembly. Said it sounds like it needs a new clutch or relay. Hope

this helps!

Non DS Question

Hi

I have a non DS question.  Does anyone have any experience with an air

conditioner compressor being stuck in a car?  The air cond. compressor on our

car gets stuck and the air is on in winter and the heat is on in summer.  The

worst part of it is, it runs the battery down any time from a few days to 2

months after the last jump start.  I wondered if anyone knew how to fix this or

if there are any home remedies.  We don't have a lot of good mechanics here in

town and I am not mechinally inclined and they know it and that equals rip off.

I have heard Cadillacs and Lincolns are notorious for this.  Someone suggested I

disconnect the battery every time after I drive it but that would a nuisance.

Any ideas?

S.
